Prasat Hin Nong Ku of Ban Prang Khu is in Thawat Buri District, Roi Et Province. The laterite prang, with re entrant angles at the 4 corners, stands on a rabbeted and angled square base which is about 5.1 meters wide. The entrance leading to the chamber inside lies in the east, the other entrances are false. On the eastern face is a porch of 3.27 meters long and 1.45 meters wide.
The laterite wall enclosing the monument is 23.30 meters across the front and 35 meters deep. The eastern wall is entered through a cruciform Ku, Roi Et gatehouse. The laterite sanctuary is believed to be a Buddhist monument built by the local villagers and dates to the 13th-14th century A.D.
Prasat Hin Nong Ku, constructed at Muang Boran, represents the authentic form and size of the original in Roi Et Province.
